RuPaul's Drag Race s7e6
Ru Hollywood Stories •  6 April 2015

Last time on RuPaul's Drag Race the contestants presented and accepted at The DESPY Awards.

Max & Pearl won the challenge, yes, even after Pearl complained to Ru that he wasn't holding Pearl's hand and clapping for him enough.   Ugh.

Kandy Ho & Mrs. Kasha Davis lip synched for their lives.

Mrs. Kasha Davis was eliminated.  The judges were underwhelmed, they wanted her to go much further with her schtick.   Maybe more boxed wine is in order.

Before we begin, what do you think so far?   You buyin' the weekly winners?

How about those booted off?   You down with that?   There has been plenty of buzz on the Internet how this season isn't up to par, whether due to lackluster contestants, lower talent levels, or just poor decision making on the judges' behalf.

I'm over Pearl's inattentiveness,
but that's only ONE person.

February 1971.  Learn the message.

"And what message would that be, Gianni?"

Ooooh, good point, dead man.
NOT the Fats Domino / Pat Boone
message, updated for the early 1970s.

Just the lyrics of the title.  That's enough.

Next day in the work room The Pit Crew has grown!

The mini-challenge, "Monster In Your Pants," a sort of '21,'

was won by Ginger Minj.

Ginger then set up the teams for the main challenge:  Act in three different vignettes explaining how Merle Ginsberg left and Michelle Visage came on board in season three.

Ross Mathews coaches them.  You know how it goes, they'll all screw up now, but the final result will be stellar.

"Mother does not play."   "That."

"Can we just stop this right now?
Gianni's posts are all over the place,
and it's really confusing to me."

"How is anyone supposed to work under these conditions?"

"I want to be real, and all these people are fake, or sleeping."

Well, maybe Miss Fame is on to something.  I mean, Pearl woke up.  That has to count for SOMEthing.  Still, you can't pin all your troubles on a sleeping Pearl.

Joining Ru on stage are Merle Ginsberg, Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews and Ariana Grande.  "Death Becomes Her" is the theme.   Death better not have gotten Carson.   =o(

Katya

Ginger Minj

Kennedy Davenport

Max

Kandy Ho

Miss Fame

Pearl

Jaidynn Diore Fierce

Violet Chachki

Loved that, of course.
Not enough to initiate it myself, though.

The judges give mixed reviews to most, but Kandy Ho and Jaidynn Diore Fierce get the worst.   It's obvious they will lip synch for their lives.

I do want Max to keep wearing gray wigs
though, just to irk Michelle.

Ariana Grande's "Break Free" is the song that they lip synch to.

Jaidynn is kept.  Kandy Ho is gone.

Are you in a malaise like all the fans seem to be, regarding season seven?   I don't like thinking I already know who is going to win the season, but I don't deny the talent of Ginger Minj, or Katya, either.    I like many of the contestants, and that's enough for me.

"I don't need to DATE them."

ILYM
